Whether you're aiming to become the next international sports physiotherapist, a coach providing first aid for your local team, or a junior doctor considering a career in sport, we have something for you.
At Return To Play – Sports Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation, we're proud to offer our ever-growing CPD programme. Our team has been fortunate to work across every level of sport, from junior grassroots through to senior international competition. One thing we've consistently found is that, regardless of experience or level, there is always an opportunity to improve—whether that's refining individual skills, strengthening clinical decision-making, or developing as part of a medical team.
Having collectively attended years of courses, seminars and lectures, we understand that everyone learns differently. Sometimes you need a solid introduction to the fundamentals; other times you need to be placed in high-pressure, realistic scenarios where there's no room for error—just like the environments you'll face in practice.
Our aim isn't to assess you with a pass or fail. Instead, we provide an environment where you can learn, practise, ask questions and develop alongside like-minded colleagues in a supportive setting. We believe that confidence comes through repetition, discussion and hands-on experience, not simply by completing a course.
That's why we offer a mixture of preparation sessions to help you get the most from nationally recognised qualifications, alongside refresher and 'top-up' workshops for those who have already completed their training but want to continue developing their skills and confidence. Whether you're preparing for your first course or looking to build on existing knowledge, our CPD programme is designed to support your ongoing development.
We run multiple sessions all year round. Please see our list of events below.
